Position includes financial responsibility of operational and project budgets, compliance and IT security and the services provided to our internal customers. Yearly operational budget of $ 8 million (excluding projects).

Designed and built a B2B Marketplace for the Shipping Industry based on Ariba’s Marketplace functionality and customized to the industry’s requirements and specifications. Front end (ship owners/ship managers) and back end (suppliers) integration to the Seavantage platform based on XML. Head office in London, Sales and Marketing in Rotterdam and IT development in Zurich. Seavantage merged with its main competitor (Shipserv Ltd.) in 2001.

Project Manager, Business Analyst and IT Management within Data Warehouse projects. Implemented Business Objects and Web Intelligence as the main front-end tools for a telcom company’s Data Warehouse, including documentation of all procedures related to reporting and the security concept. PwC Consulting was acquired by IBM in 2002.

Project Manager for Data Warehouse (DW) project within the pharmaceutical industry. Responsible for an Executive Information System (EIS) project where the work was to automate and improve the system including reducing the operational costs. The work was an improvement and recovery job and done in a very political environment, where the consulting company that had developed the EIS still played an active role

Main responsibility for the financial management processes for the county’s 24 offices. Yearly operational budget of NOK 125 million (excluding projects). Initiated and developed a multidimensional reporting tool within the financial area. Took the initiative and built a MIS prototype in conjunction with a colleague, based on a Balanced Scorecard framework. Project Manager for implementing client/server solution (24 offices) and for the training of the employees (500 people) in different applications.
