I have gained experience in nanoparticle based drug delivery system during my tenure. Though I worked on various nanoparticle systems like nanoemulsion, nano lipid carrier (NLC), nanocrystal, my work was mainly focussed on preparation of small size nanocrysal of a compound of herbal origin. I used various top down approaches like bead mill, high pressure homogenizer, microfluidizer to prepare pure drug nanocrystal which are not only smaller in size (<200 nm) but also stable for a long period of time.

Beside various administrative works, I was looking after the chemical isolation, purification, characterization of actives from herbal sources. I was also involved in analysis, authentication and certification of statutory samples of various herbal pharmaceutical companies.

Responsible for pharmacological and toxicological study of finised polyherbal products.
