• Work as part of the Focused Improvement pillar in the World Class Manufacturing department • Define the safety and productivity standards for CNC controlled robots, mainly welding, and study potential improvements to make them safer and more efficient according to the World Class Manufacturing requirements

• Analysing the claims presented by the production manager, preparing reports showing the problem areas of inefficiency with recommendations for solution • Communicating with various departments within the company, as the analysis and the report required their input, which provided an understanding of the competitive business environment

• Working with the maintenance team on fixing and altering the CNC machines according to needs of the new line of production • Gaining experience on the shop floor from day one; learning CNC machining from senior operators • Working on the assembly line and following the quality control procedure, writing down the ideas to make alterations on the products to make them easier to manufacture and sturdier for the customers
