Marma Narayana• Ayur-Marma-Yoga is an integrative wellness method evolved from my family’s traditional self-care lineage, BAMS education, Ayurvedic mentorship and 20+ years of practice. It integrates Ayurveda, Marma knowledge, mindful movement, breath, touch-based practices and lifestyle guidance into personalised wellness experiences for modern Indian and international settings.

My Ayurveda journey began with traditional Panchakarma and massage practices learned during adolescence. At 18, I moved to Mysuru and pursued BAMS at Government Ayurveda Medical College while simultaneously assisting a senior Ayurvedic physician in Ayur-Marma-Yoga Integrative Care practice. This intensive dual path of formal study and hands-on learning continued for 66 months and became the foundation of my lifelong professional practice.

Chief Medical Officer at Vivekananda Aarogya dhama, a 10-bed AYUSH hospital of SnehaKunja Trust (Feb 2021–May 2023). Led clinical operations during the COVID-19 period, integrating Ayurveda, Marma and Yoga with routine healthcare. Developed expertise in clinical leadership, integrative wellness and lifestyle-based recovery, with a focus on translating Indian health traditions into culturally adaptable programmes for diverse populations including care for bedbound people, geriatric & palliative care

Being a RMO (Ayurveda), Vivekananda Memorial Hospital, SVYM I have Provided recuperative care, holistic health assessments and follow-ups within a multidisciplinary setting. Taught Ayurveda certificate courses affiliated with TDU and mentored international interns. Continued professional development in Ayur-Marma-Yoga through S-VYASA Yoga University, CCPT and NPTEL certifications, with PhD coursework completed at the University of Mysore.

International Wellness Facilitator | Russian Federation Worked under an official work permit as a resident facilitator, representing traditional Indian wellness practices in Eastern Europe. Conducted non-clinical demonstrations and experiential sessions on Marma-based self-care, Indian beauty and lifestyle practices. Supported cross-cultural knowledge exchange by adapting traditional wellness concepts for Russian audiences and international wellness settings.

Completed a one-month semi-online Certificate Course in Nadi Pariksha (Traditional Method of health assessment ) from the Post Graduate Institute of Ayurveda (PGIA), Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University (DSRRAU), Jodhpur, Rajasthan. 3 week online plus one week in-campus residential hands-on training.

200 hours/one month , Fulltime Certificate in Yoga & Mental Health by Department of Integrative Medicine, NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health and Neuroscience), Bengaluru, India. Completed specialized training in evidence-based Yoga applications for mental health and integrative care. Gained practical skills in using Yoga as a complementary health tool within mental well-being and neurosciences, enhancing holistic approaches to well-being, stress management, & mental health support.

250hours / One month Fulltime hands-on post graduate training in Ayurveda Panchakarma speciality care & Indian Traditional Massage Therapy conducted by CISSRA (Centre for International Studies, Skill Development and Research in Ayurveda) of SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan, India. Trained in classical Ayurvedic detoxification protocols with hands-on experience in Abhyanga Massage Therapy. Developed strong wellness skills with emphasis on safety, hygiene, & precision, supporting integrative Care.

Completed advanced certified 105 hours of Hands-on training in Soundarya Ayurveda (Ayurvedic Cosmetology & Indian Aesthetics). Developed specialized expertise in Ayurvedic approaches to skin health, hair care, natural beauty enhancement, herbal formulations, and holistic aesthetic therapies. Burdenko (Russian Federation), earning a formal Pre-Medical Certification in Russian Language and Foundational Medical Sciences to support my global academic integration.

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) — Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru, India | Affiliated with RGUHS. Completed a 5.5-year (66-month) full-time professional medical programme, including a 12-month clinical internship across government hospital departments. Trained in classical Ayurveda, clinical assessment, patient care and integrative approaches, providing a strong foundation for professional practice in Ayurveda and holistic wellness.

From age 5, I was exposed to a multi-generational Marma-Vaidya tradition passed down through my family. During my teenage years, I underwent intensive, hands-on learning and sustained practice in traditional Marma-based self-care. Alongside formal schooling, I continued Vedamantra training, developing practical familiarity with sound, rhythm, breath and contemplative awareness. This formative apprenticeship became the foundation of my lifelong work in Ayurveda and integrative wellness.
