At Waagner Biro I have been tasked with overviewing the companies BIM procedures, and overhauling our BIM systems, in order to ensure BIM compliance, which is coming into more focus for contractors and suppliers in recent years. Part of this was to assess our current BIM procedures and identifying areas for improvement, including setting short, medium, and long-term plans. Additionally, I have involved on assessing projects early on in tender phase including geometric modelling of complex structures.

As a Senior Structural Technician at BuroHappold, I worked on challenging, state of the art buildings that required close collaboration between all project stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and execution. In my capacity as ICT coordinator, I was tasked with ensuring our compliance with all relevant project BIM standards and procedures.

As a Constructing Architect at NNE Pharmaplan, I worked in the Architecture and Structural Engineering department, with my main focus being structural design. In this capacity, I was able to work on cutting-edge projects all over the world, such as China, Denmark, Belgium, France and Switzerland. I assisted in developing highly accurate 3D models and coordinating the various disciplines in the project, making sure that design inconsistencies were reduced to a minimum.

As a Graduate at NNE Pharmaplan, I joined the Structural Engineering department, and was given the opportunity to work on multi-disciplinary projects. Learning the complexities of designing and executing pharmaceutical facilities in a collaborative environment and applying new tools and techniques to solve construction challenges.
