Main activities, responsibilities and duties: design of the potent structure and optimization of existing ones, preparation of the retrosynthetic route, multistep synthesis of the target structures and purification of complex polyazamacrocyclic intermediates, spectral characterization of all obtained compounds by multinuclear NMR, mass and fluorescence spectroscopy

Main activities, responsibilities and duties: analyses of the plant essential oils and extracts by GS/MS: volatile and non-volatile chemical compounds; isolation and purification of organic compounds from complex extracts; design, synthesis and optimisation of lead compounds, their structural/spectral characterization combining the variety of instrumental methods: 1D and 2D-NMR, IR, GS/MS, MS and UV/VIS; biological testing of whole extracts and/or synthetic compounds.
