Über mich
I am currently working as a Software and Solution-Architect for Digitalization Software in the Application Center for Machine Tools in Cologne. After several years developing a centralized web-based Tool Component Management system for Machine Tools, I conducted various projects together with customers to acquire data from their Machine Tools and to support them in further analytics. During this time I increased my knowledge and experience in Cloud Technologies and Containers to build a bridge between the shopfloor and upstream systems called BFC (Brownfield Connectivity). I am currently responsible for the software architecture of the Brownfield Connectivity Services as the leading container based edge connectivity system at Siemens which consists of >50 Microservices and runs on docker swarm or kubernetes.
