I consolidated the company's local branches to a national entity and laid the ground for continuous growth by initializing sales efforts and recruiting top performers to the team.
I led the local entities in Shanghai and Mumbai and supported the local managers in overseeing their sales strategies, product portfolio and staffing. Including a business development role with direct client relations in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
After continuous growth and global expansion including acquisitions of other companies, Universum wanted to integrate and develop its global accounts, which included the majority of the Fortune top 100 companies. I drove the overall strategic direction and lead initiatives to create synergies between the local market operations which lead to increased sales to the most important clients.
Responsible for the European operations outside the Nordic region, with full P&L responsibility. The priority was to build the sales- and marketing organisation along with its support functions based on 100% client focus to rapidly increase sales. Within a few years Universum was established as the leading provider of Employer Branding research and consulting services in Europe, where the major markets were the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
