At WMP I had the opportunity to work interims-wise before leaving germany for UK. I was involved in a design for a single family home, a conversion of a fair hall and in a detailed planing process of an existing apartment building.

Since the Department of Building Construction of the University of Hannover was to publish a book on moveable architecture, they were in need of students who helped them with technical drawings and inquire rights to publish specific pictures.

In this job me and two colleagues were responsible for managing the entire seating in the Hannover Convention Centre during all major fairs. We had to supervise the crews placing furnitures, draw CAD Plans according to fire-restrictions and requirements from gastronomy services and to keep customers contact.

At this small architectural firm I had the chance to manage my first own project: A renovation of a medical praxis and a small laboratory. Further I did a design for barn-conversion into a educational centre and helped with a number of other projects.

I was responsible for managing a small, self-supporting printing studio which is affiliated to the Graphic Department of my Architectural School. We were printing out the students works in various sizes and qualities, starting from simple A4 prints to A0 presentations (for the diplomas public presentations for example). Furthermore we had to see that the store did not run out of supplies (paper, Ink, etc.)

It was my second employment in Architecture were I had the chance to work for nearly two years during each of my semester breaks. It is were I gained a lot of experiences in taking part in a huge projects like hospitals and laboratories.

This was my very first Job in Architecture which I joint during my A-Levels just before entering University - I guess this Internship actually brought me to studying Architecture at all
