    The group is funded by EDF to test the resilience of nuclear reactors to earthquakes in order to decide on the safety of expanding their lifetime. My personal project was to calibrate a core prototype in order to correlate forces applied to the core with hold-values (resistance of the material to breaking) and displacements.
