I could get a GSoC11 student-slot for the TYPO3 Association. The whole project was about translating content of version 4 (which is becoming outdated, soon) of the infamous danish TYPO3 Content-Management-Framework into v5-compatible data via XSLT transformations that are additionally highly customizable via PHP. The generated software will be a foundation for a toolchain for further transitions from v4 to v5 and will long being maintained by me and (hopefully) other welcomed volunteers.

This was my very first appointment in Software Engineering and my main focus was on building a web application Frontend providing an easy-to-use web interface for a hosting application using the infamous danish Content-Management-Framework TYPO3. Therefore, the main technology in use was PHP and some Bash, JavaScript and SQL-Databases. Unfortunately, the whole project was dumped because it was economically without further success. However, I could learn a lot & i'm missing the guys.

The "Südpfalz Draisinenbahn" is a friend's dad's company for touristic railway journeys. I planned and engineered the whole web-based booking system from scratch which provides nice graphical interfaces for the administrator as well as for the customer.
