Nicole Schlegel

Hi, I am an award-winning animation director who loves bringing stories to life. My artistic work is driven by a deep love of storytelling and a fascination with childhood and nature. I blend traditional 2D animation (cel & motion design), stop motion, and projection mapping to create immersive experiences that seamlessly blend artistry and technology. My recent short film, "Maréu" (2023), explores themes of self-confidence and the wonders of nature through the eyes of a child. Currently, I work as a Producer at ZDF, where I immerse myself in the fast-paced world of international news. I am interested in global issues and able to communicate complex information effectively. I am excited to be relocating to Germany in August, seeking opportunities in motion design and cel animation. I am proficient in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Toon Boom Harmony and Resolume Arena. I am a strong communicator, fluent in German, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
