Marriott Statistical Consulting was set up in 2006 to provide statistical consulting, training and data management to clients in many industries.

Provided statistical analysis and training to a division of over 800 people. I advised and analysed the results of a major consumer study to determine whether the company should launch a new product, resulting in the product being successfully launched. I was also involved in designing and running training courses on behalf of the organisation which are regarded as a model for training courses within the company globally.

Trend analysing and forecasting for Mars UK Ltd including sales and share trends; the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. A number of training courses were also designed and run for buyers with the company.

Designed strategies for the cocoa futures market which were profitable in every year of a five-year period, during a time when most investor lost money in this field.

Received a special commendation for 2nd year project which was described as the “gold standard” that all projects and presentations should be measured against.
