Research in Single Vehicle Accidents, collision with road restraint barriers. Statistical analysis of the road accident data from NHRCP, to study the impact conditions of speed and angle to derive the inputs to the FEM simulation. Organized and managed LS Dyna support and HPC team to set up the LS Dyna simulation on the high performance cluster. FEM analysis of Car road side barrier Impact, researched the behavior of the impact in real life conditions.

Vehicle Performance Engineering –Safety Evaluation Worked together with designers and CAE department to shift from active whiplash system to passive with same whiplash performance Developed a detailed DiaDEM tool for analysis of sensor Channel data for whiplash performance. Used video analysis extensively to quantify NKM with head rest kinematics. Conducted crash test of prototype seats.
