Joined SIT AB to perform Master’s Thesis project on the topic of “Geometrical Variation Effects on the Aeromechanical Behaviour of a Large Aspect Ratio Shrouded Turbine Blade”. The general idea behind the project is to perform a parametric study of the blade chord and area distribution aeromechanic response, while trying to keep the stage aerodynamics unaffected.The main goal of the project is to generate future knowledge on the topic that can be later on used by the Dynamics Department for future designs.

Developed a fatigue life calculation tool serving the current model of Ph.D. candidate Monika Topel and presented in her licentiate thesis “Steam Turbine Thermal Modelling for Improved Transient Operation”. The idea behind the tool is to serve the development of solar powered steam turbines providing quick fatigue life calculation at different start-up and shutdown modes. This research project is based on a Siemens Steam Turbine from Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB, Finspång, Sweden
