·Developed the process of machining sintered non-conductive advanced ceramics such as ZrO2, SiC, Si3N4 and AlN with EDM using carbon based lacquer as an assisting electrode. Developed a novel hybrid assisting electrode, Characterized the intrinsic conductive layer using XPS, EDX and XRD. · Developed a FEA model to simulate the μ-EDM process. Taught lectures and lab courses on ‘Cleanroom technologies and processes’ for international masters’ students studying microsystems engineering.

Developed the process of manufacturing ultra-high aspect ratio (>1000) µ-channels in the volume of crystalline sapphire (Al2O3). · Programmed and optimized a custom-built high precision laser processing machine, examined the influence of various laser parameters and employed different scanning strategies. · Developed a wet etching process for polycrystalline sapphire. · Designed and developed shadow mask in Molybdenum foil with feature sizes of few microns.

Performed experimental and simulation studies to develop and optimize the process of printing non-conventional inks on a custom built inject printer. Worked with state-of-the-art inkjet printing technology. Printed novel inks containing Cu-nano particles, AgNeO ink and graphite solution.

Performed simulation of synchronous machine in MATLAB, its load effects and fault. Analyzed and addressed the concerns for power evacuation of a small hydro power plant including transmission lines losses.
