System Safety Lead/ Consultant at Raytheon: • responsible for the development of the required safety artefacts for the Transit Safety Case for AWD Hobart.

• Supporting various other classified campaigns and activities. • Conducting and being responsible for Risk and Safety activities and deliverables in specific projects and campaigns. • Preparing and developing responses to RFI, RFQ and RFP. • Identifying and assessing customer requirements and ensuring these are responded to correctly. • Organising and conducting meetings, workshops and presentations with and for customers. • Attending and supporting exhibitions worldwide.

• The development of a Risk Management Plan. • Responsible for performing risk assessments during the campaign. • Coordinating and preparing the Project Risk Register as a deliverable. • Carrying out shipyards tours during various workshops and reviews. • Provide support in developing the Safety Management Plan and System Safety Project Plan. • Assist the development of a Safety Case with the Safety Manager and System Safety Team.

Setup a quality control and assurance system with applicable processes and forms. Review and sign off of all quality documentation related to the project. Management of all quality, HAT and SAT documentation as per contractual obligations. Liaison with contractors and suppliers. Create a network of local suppliers and manufacturing contractors. Clarification of technical queries on various submarine systems. Re-certification of pressure vessels. Clarification of coating and corrosion defects.
