Glitnir Bank is a Nordic bank with an international reach employing over 2.000 people Led the Risk & Control Self Assessment project (RCSA) globally, covering corporate-, investment- and commercial banking and capital markets, front to back. Established a framework for RCSA in Glitnir. RCSA is a qualitative requirement for standardized approach to Operational Risk Capital (pillar 1) for Basel II.

Built up a new department that is now the biggest data provider for the financial sector in Iceland. Responsible for design, implementation and production of data subscription service with over 1.500 private and institutional clients including all major banks in Iceland. Increased subscription fees from 20% to 60% of the company's income. Also responsible for custom made application development.

Responsible for requirement analyzes, design and implementation of a pension fund management system handling assets over 20 billion ISK. Design and implementation of a data warehouse for financial data from the OMX Exchange, Icelandic currency market and other sources.

Took part in designing and implementing various systems for the financial sector. Those projects including a pension fund management system, bonds calculation services, distributed car loan system, the Market-Viewer system, system for annual reports and internal bookkeeping systems among other things.
