Conducting research and development activities based on:  petrochemical products including polymers and monomers  petrochemical production processes

Developing and synthesizing membranes for industrial and household waste water.

Developed and synthesized proton conducting polymer membranes for Fuel Cells.  Techniques used include synthesis, characterization, DSC, TGA, FT‐IR, SEM, impedance analyzer, proton conductivity analysis water uptake analysis.

Applied cleaning tests for consumer requirements taking into consideration chemical options.  Conducted material compatibility tests of various plastics and metals concerning chemical formulas.  Worked with typical analytic chemical methods to identify chemical products and its ingredients (pH value, acid and alkaline titration, hydrogen peroxide titration, complexing agent titration, refractive index, density, conductivity, UV‐VIS).

Synthesized functionalized magnetic nanoparticle drugs and dehydroalanine monomer.  Executed free radical (co)polymerization of methacrylic acid and dehydroalanine.  Performed characterization of monomer and (co)polymers by using NMR and TLC.
