Management of the department BE QMiP „Quality Management in Projects“ within the compression business of Siemens (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Air Separation). QMiP is one of the operational parts within business excellence, which is customer-facing in the bid- and execution phase.

The activity covered the technical coordination of compressor units as a project lead engineer in the BU I6 (Oil & Gas compressor business). The tasks comprised on the one hand the specification and execution of the main components (e.g. gears, couplings and drivers) and on the other hand the technical leadership of the contracts.

The job consisted of the execution of large machine sets (compressors, steam turbines, pumps, fans) in the plant engineering. Coordinator function for main orders in the fertilizer industry (project support, execution phase, commissioning).

After visiting different departments, the final activity consisted in the execution of API reciprocating compressors in the construction department. The tasks included the construction of cylinder heads, calculations for the machine dynamics and mechanics, and support of the workshop staff.
