Responsible for global financing, including bilateral credit facilities of €1.3 billion, and master agreements for short-term financing, guarantees, and cash pooling. Led the harmonization of treasury policies across 60+ countries and the digitalization of internal controls. Monitored and managed counterparty and country risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks (EMIR, Dodd-Frank, KYC). Directed a sub-project within the corporate spin-off. Coached and developed the treasury team.

Drove cash management efficiency across Europe, Asia and the Americas; executed intercompany financing in 30+ countries. Implemented cross-border cash pooling in Switzerland and China, and rolled out cash management platforms in Korea, Japan and the Nordic countries. Built a wallet-share database covering around 100 banking relationships, reducing payment transaction costs. Amended financing agreements as part of the LIBOR reform.

Managed global short-term liquidity and led the global rollout of the ION treasury management system across 100+ entities in 50+ countries. Implemented a notional cash pool spanning 20+ entities and 10 currencies. Introduced an IT-based monitoring solution to reduce fraud and bribery risk in cash transactions. Held functional responsibility for SAP TRM and contributed to global treasury standards.

Introduced cash pooling structures in 20+ countries and led a medium-term club deal. Supported the issuance of corporate bonds, promissory notes and syndicated loans. Reviewed short- and medium-term financial planning across international subsidiaries.

Advised international subsidiaries on financing and cash management matters. Connected around 2,000 bank accounts to enable automated booking and reporting, improving transparency and efficiency.

Established the treasury function for the German group entities, with full responsibility for cash management, short-term forecasting and cash positioning. Implemented cross-border cash pooling across France, Italy and Spain, and introduced automated bank account posting software. Led payment services tenders across Europe.

Analyzed annual and semi-annual financial statements and prepared credit disclosure reports for credit bureaus. Compiled KPIs and performed reconciliations across group entities to support informed decision-making.

Implemented Sage accounting software to streamline financial operations. Handled transaction postings and monthly closings, and supported budget planning and reporting.
