Business Development role for all MedSurg Stryker products in Indonesia. Ensure the link between Tawada management and Stryker regional management in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Training and Education on Stryker products of a team of product specialists and branch managers throughout Indonesia (including the 7 Tawada branch offices) Surgical specialties covered: Orthopedic surgery, Laparoscopic surgery (digestive, urology, OB GYN procedures) with Stryker camera systems.

Local sales and regional support for all Stryker products Training of regional distributors on Stryker products (with a focus on Emerging Markets such as Indonesia and Vietnam) Focus on technology products such as Endosuite, Nav-suites, Navigation products Supervised the installation of the first Nav-suite in Singapore (and in the region) at Singapore General Hospital.

Implementation of clinical trials for “Zeus”: leading edge telesurgery robot developed by Computer Motion Inc. Oversaw integration program, namely technical training for surgeons on animal and human surgery. Brought the hospital up to speed on the use of the robot which resulted in the first robotic surgery ever done in China

Fluid Mechanics Thesis: “Construction of a mock flow loop to measure the closing velocity of mechanical heart valves leaflets using a water cooled laser system in the entrance region of the NOVACOR LVAD”
