In my Master Thesis I worked on the development of a quality measurement procedure for Interoperable Master Format (IMF) Packages. My main tasks were investigating how the video quality of the mezzanine files and final deliverables can be ensured and how a change in the mezzanine video format influences the video quality of the deliverables created from the IMF packages.

Video quality analysis of different MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and JPEG2000 video codecs. I also developed a Python library for video quality measurements and integrated this library into an automated test framework.

Worked on a project regarding direction of arrival estimation. I have implemented different algorithms in Python such as Beamforming, MUSIC, and different versions of the ESPIRIT algorithm and compared their results. Worked on a project about evaluating the performance of a real-time sound rendering System. The system reproduces a spatial sound for a single listener using a linear loudspeaker array. In this project, we evaluate the system performance in terms of channel separation using a manikin.

I have taught various courses during my time here which include Wireless Communication, Computer Networking, and Digital Logic Design. I have also conducted various labs which include Wireless communication, Electronic devices and circuits, Network analysis and Digital logic design in which I gave practical hands on training to the students and familiarized them with software’s such as MATLAB, Simulink, and Proteus. I also gave a workshop on microcontrollers (hardware and software).

My major tasks were providing technical support to international campaigns, providing productivity and dialing reports on a daily basis and developing new dialing platforms for agents. Most of the work was done using VB.net, HTML and .NET platform. I developed new dialing platforms for the agents and linked all the data to a database and maintained all the data using SQL Server. I automated daily reports on Microsoft Excel.
