Effective from 1st/August/2013, I have been assigned to support Atlassian Stash repository management software and FishEye, this has given me chance to expose more, learn more about Atlassian products by solving customers problems.

Besides my role as support engineer within Atlassian, I have given the chance to develop a JIRA plugin (in Java and Javascript) built in Atlassian Support portal (support.atlassian.com) to display the products hot issues which makes it easier for the customers to know the root of the running issues and to reduce the support contact rate.

The scope of the job involve communication with customers, administrators and end-users of Atlassian OnDemand (JIRA) to provide support, troubleshooting, handling critical issues which can require high degree of technical knowledge of Atlassian OnDemand infrastructure and ideas to improve the end-users requirements. This was involved an intensive debugging for JIRA from the source code level, in order to define the root causes.

I was assigned to develop an operation management system for Segway. This system was done in PHP using (MVC architecture) in the server side while the client side was written in JavaScript (Sencha library) to give an interactive user experience for the UI when displaying the reports and the data input forms.

Computer Programming 1 is the first programming subject in any IT course, where it considered one of the hardest subjects for IT freshers, due to the enormous numbers of programming fundamentals that require in depth understanding from the students. Our role is to assist the students in the labs with extra help, meanwhile conduct extra classes for vulnerable students in programming with C++.
