Improvement Methodologies: Participation in the development and implementation of continuous improvement methodologies based on WCM principles.

Development of a predictive tool to estimate the risk of pulp effraction. Use of YOLOv8 to detect teeth and training of neural networks to segment deep caries lesions. Evaluation and testing of neural networks on private databases from the DECAT (Deep Caries Treatment) project. Technologies used: Python, PyTorch, MONAI, Deep Learning applied to the analysis of dental X-rays.

Analysis of tomographic imaging (DICOM, NIFTI) of a cohort of subjects and extraction of quantitative data. Segmentation (3D Slicer, ITK-SNAP) and registration (elastix, transformix, deedsBCV) of images. Use of Deep Learning models for image segmentation (TotalSegmentator, MONAI Label). Execution of OAR jobs (bash files) on computing clusters using Nix containers and the conda environment. Improvement of Python code (SimpleITK, nibabel, pydicom). Statistical analysis of the results
