Design Enabling & Services, Compact Modelling Development of an innovative approach to technology assessment for the investigation of device characteristics with the usage of simulation.

Test and validation of models for strong force radiation properties at the unexplored LHC energy regime. Data analysis based on pattern recognition, implemented as C++ programs. Access to large samples of data via distributed computing.

Evaluation of the statistical and systematic precision on the measurement of the mass of the top quark particle. Hypothesis testing studies, implemented in C++ with intensive use of the ROOT statistics library.

I Project: Responsible for the assessment of the performance of detector energy calibration. Representative speaker for the calibration team in front of the ATLAS collaboration. Development of dedicated performance tests with the usage of Monte Carlo simulations. II Project: Independent and original study on a method to measure the mass of the top quark particle. Characterization of variables to distinguish very rare signals (1/ 10000) efficiently.

Supervision of the students in the laboratory.

Demonstration lectures on electromagnetism for Engineering students .

Development of a project in the ZEUS experiment and attendance to lectures.
