I work as Principal Scientist in the crystallization laboratory of Merck Sharp and Dohme (Schachen, LU). I work on the determination of the crystallization route of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and I provide scientific support to commercial manufacturing across sites in MSD-Europe.

I applied SSNMR to the structural studies of organometallic compounds: 13C, 19F, 59Co, 119Sn, and others. I applied various 2D techniques to correlate the SSNMR structural information with the XRD structure. I used density Functional Theory to calculate NMR parameters on heavy atoms.

physical chemstry: the degree thesis was on charge transfer materials and their investigation via spectroscopic techniques such as SSNMR, XRD, Raman and IR.
