VxWorks 5.5 & 6.4 BSP development for SpearHead200 & 600 system on chip from ST Microelectronics (ARM 926EJ-S). In these projects I was mainly involved in board bring up and was responsible for the development, debug and test of 10/100 Mbit & Gigabit Ethernet MAC IP Core device drivers.

Design and development of Windows WDF device driver for a PCI board supporting up to 4 GSM modems. This system consists of a bus driver responsible for the enumeration of function drivers, one for each modem on the board, and for shared resources handling. Each function driver provides a COM compatible interface to the user application.

Design and development of data acquisition system to interface clinical laboratory blood and urine analyzers. This system consists of a custom device I designed with a Microchip PIC18F2550 and KMFD USB bus & function drivers that enumerate a pair of COM ports on XP workstations. This device is connected with the serial port of the instrument in order to send commands and to get analysis results and emulates Centronic interface in order to acquire graphics produced by the instrument.
