Performed regular performance tuning activities in various clients, achieving a standard of 99% efficiency in production and mission critical databases. Utilized Oracle Enterprise Manager to proactively monitor and resolve performance issues, achieving a significant improvement in overall performance. Proactively assessed the database load and queries, delivering query tuning recommendations to the customer that boo sted performance by 40%.

Supporting Production Databases in 24/7 environment. Performed Oracle RAC, agents and standalone database patching on multiple databases and versions. Worked and resolved the issues raised by various teams within the SLA. Implemented Oracle RAC setup with standby configuration.

Upgraded multiple Oracle standalone databases from 12c to 19c using manual method.  Conducted database and schema refresh activities using RMAN and Data Pump methods.  Conducted OEM activities, including configuring new and deconfiguring old databases. Adding and removing databases from backup groups. Monitored database performance and backup reports, addressing and resolving any issues that arose.

Monitored alerts and resolved issues related to database locks, dataguard gaps and GoldenGate lag issues.  Migrated RAC databases with standby configuration from Exadata machine X4 to X8.  Involved in Implementation of RAC setup with dataguard configuration.  Monitoring performance of main databases using OEM and capturing top time-consuming queries and suggesting developers to tune for better performance.  Patching database instances on RAC instances with zero downtime. Troubleshooting RAC issues.

Installing oracle databases on UNIX platforms (Oracle 11g/12c) and configuring client on app servers.  Applying database patches on standalone environment.  Conducted restore tests utilizing RMAN recovery techniques to ensure data integrity and reliability.  Analysing query performance using AWR/stats pack/explain plan and providing possible recommendation

Generating weekly Database health check report for customers and fixing the reported issues.  Providing 24/7 and on-call support as a primary DBA for multiple clients.  Install, configure and administer Oracle Databases (9i,10g,11g,12c) and Dataguard.
