Team Network & Endpoint Security: Configuration and optimization of firewall environments (Fortinet/FortiGate, Azure Firewall) with focus on automation, network security and operational stability. Development of ServiceNow workflows and end-to-end automation using Python, PowerShell and GitLab CI/CD. Centralized logging (FortiAnalyzer), monitoring (Spectrum, CheckMK) and incident automation. Contribution to large-scale network redesign and coordination of external partners.

Team Firewall / Network & Endpoint Security: Developed and automated ServiceNow workflows using IaC, GitLab and CI/CD to reduce manual effort. Designed automation for network tasks via APIs incl. IPAM, firewall policies and orchestration for automated VM deployment. Automated firewall configuration across on-prem and cloud environments. Delivered Azure security initiatives incl. Policies, Assignments and DDoS Protection, strengthening security, governance and operational efficiency.

Team Firewall: Built a PowerShell framework for FortiManager to enable scripting and automation via REST APIs, establishing a foundation for future automation. Designed and implemented the first fully automated end-to-end firewall service request in ServiceNow, covering frontend, workflows and backend automation. Performed operational tasks on firewall systems, building expertise in network security, including segmentation and zone-based architectures.

Team Policies & Business Continuity: Wrote my master’s thesis entitled "Handlungsempfehlungen zur Steuerung von Dienstleistern im Kontext der Informationssicherheit und exemplarische Anwendung auf ein Lebensmitteleinzelhandelsunternehmen" in cooperation with the company, achieving a grade of 1.3.

Buildings & Infrastructure: Responsible for deployment and structured cabling of server and network hardware in data center environments. Developed a web application to document and manage server rooms, floor distributors and data center infrastructure. Supported the planning, design and deployment of a new data center.
