GDG Covilhã (Google Developer Group) is a regional technology community based in Covilhã, Portugal. Development of the platform “COVID-19 – O que está aberto?”, created during the pandemic to provide nationwide information on establishments that remained open across Portugal. The platform featured an interactive map displaying businesses at a national level, including details such as opening hours and available services (e.g., home delivery and takeaway), helping citizens quickly identify available services during lockdown periods. Development of a website for Santa Apolónia Dental Clinic. Responsibilities included website design and implementation, content structuring, and delivery of a functional and user-friendly online presence aligned with the clinic’s needs. Available at http://clinicasantapolonialcains.pt.

Vice Chair of the IEEE University of Beira Interior (UBI) Student Branch, supporting the planning and coordination of academic and technical events. Active involvement in the organization of international IEEE symposia, contributing to event planning, logistics, coordination of teams, and communication with speakers and participants.

Pre-hospital emergency medical service experience as a paramedic with INEM (Portugal), providing emergency medical care in high-pressure environments. Responsibilities included rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients during emergency situations, coordination with medical teams, and adherence to strict clinical protocols to ensure patient safety and effective emergency response.

Volunteer teacher in Guinea-Bissau as part of the “Projeto Querer e Fazer”, delivering basic computer literacy training to local teachers at Cumura School. Teaching focused on essential digital skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to support daily educational and administrative activities. Involvement also included the installation and setup of computer equipment, as well as the creation of a basic computer network to connect multiple school buildings.
