I’m leading the quality engineering efforts for MX & US e-commerce sites, mostly focusing on enhancing our test automation capabilities and helping the company adopt agile practices.

I was responsible for leading a team of 7 people across 3 different work streams for a client in the e-commerce space, had to both oversee and drive project delivery as well as helping to grow our QA practice and guide the professional development of the people under my lead.

My position was focused on test automation (creating frameworks for multiple projects from scratch), but also played a role of automation architect for the projects that were handled in the America’s region (US, CA, MX) within my division. During my last 5 months I was moved into a SW Engineering role to develop solutions from scratch.

Additional to my billable activities, I was promoted to a managerial role which was focused on driving initiatives to increase our engagements and guide the people under my lead on their professional development.

Joined this company as a Sr. engineer and was promoted to a lead position after a month. Worked with multiple clients expanding their test automation frameworks using Java based solutions, as the team leader, I was responsible for driving the engagements delivery and overseeing my team’s work.

Joined the company with a dual role, Sr Test engineer and test automation SME. Worked with multiple clients implementing or expanding test automation frameworks using multiple programming languages (Javascript, C#, Java, Python) in agile projects.

Was hired to be the company´s first QA focused employee, set the foundations of the QA practice and implemented quality checkpoints across our SDLC. Oversaw the optimization of our unit testing practices and implemented automated tests using protractor.

In my time here I played a consultant role for QA practices for our clients, implementing test strategies and creating and/or expanding test automation frameworks using different languages (Ruby, Java, Python). Increased my OOP knowledge and got my first experiences in CI/CD/CD environments.

My first lead role, had to lead 3 people across 2 workstreams, was responsible for test planning and had the chance to participate as a SME in sales calls to expand our engagement with our client.

Joined as Mid test engineer, was promoted to Sr after less than 1 year. Had my first Fortune 500 client, on the retail sector. Mostly worked validating unix & linux based systems. Became an internal SME for those applications.

My first job, where I learned the basics of software testing and had my first test automation project (IBM´s RFT), worked under scrum for multiple clients. Had the chance to be my managers backup in a couple of projects.
