Worked in the company’s first and biggest ruby project which was an auction-based website for vehicles that was being developed across 4 different countries. I also have worked in several other projects, including having worked allocated at the client side for 5 months in New York in a well know financial company. At that client, we were consuming government data from several sources, processing it and servicing this data through a SAAS.

I Have worked as generalist specialist in a couple of projects. My key projects were a proof of concept in jRuby to integrate a legacy Java application and also leverage Ruby/Rails knowledge among the team which ended up being used in production and a Domain management tool used to track/invoice the company’s over thousand owned domains.

I have worked as a generalist specialist being part in the whole stack of development , from front-end javascript till deploy. I developed and designed key projects within hotelsearch.com,for example, its new search algorithm, a change requests framework to non-hotelier users safely add information, a couple of mashups consuming internal/ external webservices and performance tunning. My main development language was ruby, altogether with tools like Solr, Memcached and jMeter.
