I contribute to the implementation of Creative Europe, EU funding programme supporting cultural and audiovisual sectors. (team of 18 members - annual budget 70 million €). I introduce strategic action for EU policy making and activities, such as the European Capitals of Culture; the European Heritage Label and the European Heritage Days; and the European Union prizes for music, literature, architecture and cultural heritage.

As Save the Dream Director for Social Innovation & Empowerment, I am building partnerships to untap the potential of sport to positively transform our societies with a focus in Latin America. Recently I have organised Sports for Peace, Sustainable and Inclusive Development at 7th Global Forum of UNAOC; promoted sport in peace and conflict resolution at the 2nd Imagine Peace Youth Camp with International Olympic Truce Centre

I was responsible for the Communication and Valorisation Unit which coordinates all the information and communication activities in the fields of Education, Culture (including Audiovisual - Media), Youth and Sport.

TheSport Unit develops activities in support of sport at EU level, to contribute to political cooperation among the Member States in this area, to facilitate dialogue and exchange of best practices among the various actors of the sport movement, and to develop cooperation with third countries and international organisations.

Management and Coordination of the European Year of Education through Sport 2004

Management of: Common Market Organisation (CMO) for tobacco, CMO for seeds, potato sector and POSEI scheme. Management of the Common Market Organisations for Tobacco and Seeds (Budget 1.100 million euros), involving drafting Commission regulations and proposals, negotiations with European Parliament, Council of Ministers and European Social and Economic Committee, and relations with tobacco and seed stakeholders.

Organization of conferences (SCIC, Unit B.1). Preparation of budget, negotiation with DGs and management of Commission conferences.

Simultaneous and consecutive interpretation from French, Italian, Portuguese and English into Spanish. Trainer of new interpreters. Pedagogical assistance to universities in the training of would be interpreters. Assessment of the work provided by new colleagues .

This traineeship was part of my training to obtain the Certificate on Pedagogical Aptitude which was a requirement to exercise as a secondary education teacher in Spain. During this traineeship I was in charge of teaching French at the third level of "Bachillerato"

The MESGO programme is a degree from the Paris IEP designed for sports sector professionals. The Master offers a unique insight to the complex dimensions and the diversity of international practices related to professional sport on an international level.
