I carried out experimental work on the production of beta glucan (β-glucan) as a microbial product in fermentation process. After preparation of medium and sterilization of medium, I performed the production of β-glucan by the cultivation of a filamentous fungus, namely Lasiodiplodia theobromae on the fermentable sugars. The fermentation process was conducted in the shake flask and bioreactor.

In this project, the production of biogas in the anaerobic digestion was studied by the concentration on the co-digestion of organic waste with microbial consortia obtained from animal. In this regard, the production of biogas from animal waste (such as manure, rumen content and waste blood) and in this way the potential of biogas production from animal waste were evaluated.

I carried out the project for the anaerobic production of organic acids (acetic acid and butyric acid) in dark fermentation process and production of solvents (acetone, butanol and ethanol) in acetone-butanol-ethanol (ABE) fermentation. The fermentation process parameters were optimized for obtaining the highest fermentation products.
