At this 100% remote position, I participate in the development of new features for Disy's main product Cadenza. Pixeon is a leading provider of healthcare software in Brazil. I am currently leading a team of 4 engineers developing and maintaining our PACS (Image management for radiology) that is used by over 500 customers, all over Brazil. Working in close alignment with the customer support and QA teams, we ensure the quality of the software and rapid bug fixing, while also preparing for a major migration of the product to a new modern micro-services based architecture.

At Mimacom, I was part of an excellent team working on a E-Government portal belonging to the Swiss government, that allows any Swiss-based business to submit their VAT (Mehwertsteuer) and capital yield tax (Verrechnungssteuer) declarations online. My German-speaking team was one of about 15 teams in the Fiscal-IT program that aimed to modernize the Swiss Tax Administration IT systems and replace mainframe-based legacy systems with a more modern architecture.

At this position in the IT department of the university, I was primarily a Java developer, responsible for several applications from back-end database design to front-end UI, especially web-based front-ends. I was responsible for the development and maintenance of many projects. The highlights of my time at this position position are the several projects I developed for partners such as the CSCF, an important biology center and the Cantonal Bank of Neuchâtel (BCN).
