Pieter Louw

Although I have a classical legal training, I was lucky enough to fall in love with disruptive business models early in my career (saving me from life as a lawyer). I started my career with the development of the global Fairtrade Certification system - aimed at transforming the basic (and very unfair) structures of international trade. This was where I worked closely with major corporations like Starbucks, Mondelez, Sainsbury's and Aldi. When I left Fairtrade, Pieter was leading the global business development in 75 countries in a growth environment of more than 25% YoY, every year in a business that globally generated more than 8 billion USD in revenue. From there I moved into digital technology and I now lead Nexplain Solutions - a company dedicated to the development of digital healthcare software for governments in Africa. With a major milestone successfully behind me, I now want a new challenge in my career.
