• Built a team (25 members) to develop core Apps (Launcher / SystemUI) and maintain Android framework. • Reviewed the new requirements and decided how to achieve them. • Surveyed framework design. For example: Activity OOMADJ, DOZE. • Instituted interview questions and interviewed more than 20 candidates. • Set goals for employees and bolstered their careers.

• Studied the Android View life cycle, Window system, and hardware rendering. • Solved deep challenge problems. For example: deadlock view tree, display distortion. • Diagnosed the problems that can’t identify true owners. • Conducted a solution for some requirements of framework. • Solved the problems of system. For example: memory leak, system halt, and performance.

• Established a common control team to efficiently increased the development of HTC Sense. • Shared the coding tip of Android performance and how to handle HTC Sense library. • Reviewed and negotiated with UI designer for new HTC sense features and surveyed the feasible solution. • Launched the most popular and successful common control - TabPlus. • Cooperated with T-Mobile Seattle team for a special project: change the color or skin of Apps in real-time.

• Initiated the new generation of HTC Music player, it’s similar to ITunes’s cover browser and launched to all HTC products. • Designed HTC music architecture and strengthened its ties with UI and performance.

• Maintained and improved the JPEG encoder and decoder on MTK platform, • Clarified issues and fixed it in all MTK chip solutions.

• Designed and developed localized features of J2ME in Brew platform.

• Improved the performance of J2ME implementations for window mobile device with IBM US team. • Delivered industry-leading benchmark scores that we improved IBM graphic render and 2D graphic library. • Developed Eclipse extended module.
