Developed mechanism of novel phenomena of light-driven diffusion-osmotic and local LDDO flow. -Optical/ fluorescence microscopy imaging of motion of colloids presented in photoactive surfactant (containing azobenzene unit) bath. -UV-Vis/ fluorescence spectroscopy technique utilized to understand the photoisomerization kinetics of photoactive surfactants and fluorescent dye. -Big data image processing in order to analyze the microscopy images using software Image J and Matlab.

1. Synthesized and characterized Ion exchange membranes using polymers like polyethersulfone, Polyether ketone, and PEEK 2. Performed experiments on a homemade electrochemical cell in order to measure the ion flow rate through membranes. 3. Performed TGA, DSC, and SEM measurements to characterize the prepared film.

1. Synthesized polyethersulfone and polyamines bipolar membranes. 2. Characterized the prepared membranes using the electrochemical device and by TGA, DSC and SEM.

Research Under the guidance of Dr. Christophe Serra. 1. Synthesized Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) nanoparticles by the method of core-shell formation achieved by a homemade microfluidic channel 2. Characterization of the size of nanoparticles using dynamic light scattering device.
