Led the "Viability Evolution" research project in artificial evolution and supervised Ph.D. students. Developed software tools in C++ to implement the new innovative optimization algorithm and demonstrated its performance on electronic circuits. Led a cross-functional team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers in the "Robogen" robotics project. Developed hardware and software to enable quick prototyping of robots.
