Natural Language Processing (NLP) for Low Resource Languages: Implemented Named Entity Recognition for Dari Language while achieving 94%accuracy. Dari is a formal language of Afghanistan and is considered a low resource language.

Main Achievement: 1. Real-Time Data Management System (RTDMS): a real-time system for ensuring the transparency in telecom service fee collection. We scrutinized the system to check the validity of data (input to the system) and added alternative data sources and integration points. Improved the transparency by 3x and incremented the revenue by more than 200%. Technologies: Spring, Apache Spark, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, ELK Stack, Angular.

Achievements: Development of Higher Education Learning Management System (HELMS). HELMS functions as the national LMS and serves 68 universities. It was used by more than 220k learners during the pandemic. It is a multi-tenant solution developed using Python (Pandas) and Moodle Core.

Projects: 1. Mobile Money Operators (MMO) Integration with APS: A middleware for Integration of MMOs with APS Switch. Integrated MMOs with 5 Banks, 1 Microfinance institution, 3 VAS Services and 1 PSP. Technologies: Spring, j8583 2. Job Recommender: A one stop solution for job seekers where their profile is matched with jobs posted in different job portals and matching jobs are listed to the users as recommendations.
