Project System Engineer for the Traxx Diesel Multi Engine project in Bombardier (Alstom)

Handling Vehicle Control Unit software development Electric locomotives in India and EU. Following the V-model in Software Development and preparing of Software Requirement specifications and Development of software for locomotive control as per the customer requirement. Preparing Software test specifications for the developed software modules.Development of complete TCMS topology for integration of vehicle control unit with traction control unit, auxiliary control units and brake system.

Following V-model in Software development and preparing software specification in DOORS as per the customer requirements. Developing and upgrading existing software for Siemens Vectron locomotives as per new requirements from customer. Documenting the changes to software in SAP and in DOORS. Writing test specifications for the developed software modules as per customer requirements. Validating locomotive software in labor as well as in locomotive in accordance with the customer specifications.

Managed a team of 10 service engineers, handling three sites, for the commissioning and preventive maintenance of Traction Converters of Diesel electric locomotives (about 200 locos) of Indian Railways. A key member of the team that commissioned the first 4500hp Diesel-Electric loco with Siemens AC-AC control system for Indian Railways. Managed FRACAS, prepared FMEA reports for improving the preventive maintenance system. Strong work experience in preventive maintenance of vehicle control systems.
