•Product design of steering wheel including plastic and metal parts and harness. Development of class A (customer studio surface) parts including manufacturing drawing release and manufacturing considerations •Design for Driver assistance and Automotive Steering wheel module and Driver airbag •Product reviews with suppliers, releasing of IDR (initial data release) and VDR (virtual/final data release) •Responsible for customer queries, “on time delivery” & “first time quality”

•Design and development of Chassis, Body in white, cabin parts and execution of part cost estimations, decision for manufacturing tooling, execution of nesting analysis and yield improvements •Handling design assignments which includes creating proposals, design finalization, making manufacturing drawings •Creation of DFMEA, Vendor development activities (request for quotation), interacting with STA •Design & Development for CNG (compressed natural gas) engine system

•Design and development of passenger and commercial vehicles parts, assemblies and subassemblies for cabin floor, BIW (body in white) exterior parts, genset & releasing 2D drawings for manufacturing •Remastering of parts and assemblies using Catia V5, execution of blank development, involved in fixture & tooling development •Layout inspection of sheet metal designed parts in development stage •Preparation of control plan for stage wise manufacturing and nesting process
