I am the director for the second largest psychiatric hospital in the state of New Mexico at 104 beds. 40 of the beds are high acuity and 64 are chornic care. The facility is called the Mental Health Treatment Center (MHTC) and it is a part of the correctional (prison) system. In addition, I run a small private practice in the north valley. I have also ran the receiving and discharge unit at Central New Mexico Correctional Facility (RDC) before moving on to MHTC.
