Leo’s Donair is the leading producer of Donair in Nova Scotia, Canada. Donair is very similar to Turkish Doner Kebabs and Greek Gyros. Donair was created in the 1970’s and has grown in popularity ever since, to the point that it has recently been named Halifax’s Official Food. This is the first time a city in Canada has named an “official food.”

• Acquired property and, with WM fares Group as my consultants, oversaw the Development Agreement with the City of Halifax for a multi-tiered mixed residential and commercial building. • Worked with local government/council to ensure land is rezoned in compliance with the rezoning process. • Before I took interest in this development opportunity, six similar proposals came forward for this specific parcel of land since the 1970's, however all of them were either withdrawn or rejected by council.
