Management and support for the Core Network Operations area with its administrative tasks. Responsible for the preparation of management reports, extraction and monitoring of KPI’s, and the following and control of specific requests to and from the different areas. Serving as a link between the Core Network Operations and other management areas inside the company.

Responsible for the management, planning and control of company’s technical area, in charge of more than 50 employees. Leading the areas of RF engineering, design and implementation of inbuilding coverage, mobile networks optimization and design, bidding of new projects, commissioning and integration of new sites, frequency planning, interference hunting, drive tests, benchmarking, technical site surveys, site audits y logistics. These services are offered to the most important mobile operators in Chile.

Managing new technology and multidisciplinary projects, participation in bidding and RFI processes, test and implementation of new features and network optimization.

Leading relevant projects, working for the Planning area. Also working on the planning process for next year’s projects and development of new sites.

Responsible for the design and development of new sites for the WCDMA access network. Achievements: • Consolidation of the 3G network including more than 900 new sites countrywide, enhancing the coverage and capacity of the 3G services throughout the network. • Deployment of capacity and performance improvements in order to keep the leadership in the WCDMA technologies.

Responsible for the design and optimization of the new WCDMA access network. Achievements: • Introduction of the first 3G sites in Santiago and the V Region, which gave Entel network’s presence in this new access technology. • 3G network growth of more than 200%, as a result of the extension of the network's presence throughout the entire country.

Responsible for designing, testing, troubleshooting and agreements of the packet data (GPRS/EDGE) roaming. Achievements: • Completion of more than 70 new data roaming agreements with operator around the world. This allowed our clients abroad, and foreigners in Chile, to use the data services. • Automation of many consistency check procedures, improving the response time and data processing within the workgroup.

Responsible of getting statistical data from the Ericsson and Siemens platforms, as well as processing, analyzing and reporting them. Achievements: • Provisioning of all Siemens platform statistics on an internal web site, improving the visibility of the information and supporting in the decision making process.

Responsible for the fine tuning of the GSM network, mainly radio network parameters, applying changes of configuration, processing installation data and studying new features.

Responsible for leading the operation and maintenance of the GSM network, understanding the potential of the platforms in order to propose and implement improvements on them.

Responsible for the successful operation of the local switch, execution of work orders, troubleshooting and maintenance of the network.

Worked in the “Data, voice and electric cabling systems project for the City Hall of Concepción” project, designing, implementing and supervising it.
