Riccardo Mastellone

Part of the Bip xScience group, specifically the Big Data and Advanced Analytics practice, I exploited machine learning and predictive models to support the transformation towards data-driven processes within companies. I have taken part of multiple projects across various industries (mainly financial services and consumer products), relying on different technologies to adapt to the needs of each client, navigating them to their goal with clear and measurable KPIs.

We created Digitag Consulting in 2012, to help companies navigate the difficult process of innovation required by today’s global market by designing the perfect digital strategy. I covered a wide range of activities, such as strategic planning, feasibility study, software development and data analysis, and led an incredibly talented team: many challenging goals have been reached (€2.5M in revenues in 2015), gaining personal satisfaction and acquiring knowledge and experience about new technologies.

Founded in 2006 in Milan, it represents an independent and highly-specialised player in the art market. Combining the two worlds of art and technology, I planned and developed a user-friendly system for online evaluation of artworks and an innovative digital passport for artworks, which enables security and traceability for the artworks with an anti-counterfeiting tag.
