Richard Mullen

I am responsible for design of automated tests and for Spectrum media servers and ports as well as design and maintenance of test infrastructure through multiple product release cycles. I also work with Development Engineering to reproduce critical customer issues and develop regression tests for those scenarios.

I provided pre/post-sales Sapphire DPI customer support for Intel, Sun, Qimonda and was instrumental in gaining acceptance of Sapphire DPI Intel next generation engineering tester. Developed tests, factory/on-site acceptance for initial systems. I was a team member debugging next-gen Intel uP family on Sapphire DPI. I also contributed to Pattern/Timing architecture for high speed serial device debug applications, Silicon Debug GUI and Object oriented API.

I provided IMS Vanguard expert support for Intel sites world wide and STMicroelectronics India.

I was responsible for the design, fabrication, and test of multiple custom/standard fixturing projects with aggressive delivery dates and changing priorities. My products included both digital and mixed-signal tester load and interface boards as well as mechanical solutions for IMS testers.

In addition to troubleshooting and prototyping, I designed data collecting programs and systems and performed manual and automated tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.

I assembled of tester work orders, conducted bring-up of systems and prepared for shipment. I worked with Test Engineering and HW Engineering in order to solve more complex issues. All this required ability to troubleshoot down to the component level using a combination of analysis equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DVMs, etc)
