Awarded Nuffield Undergraduate Research Bursary to undertake an 8 week Project with my supervisors Dr Liam Cox and postdoc Dr Peter Jervis, the project was titled "Synthesis of New Glycolipids for Modulating the Immune Response". The aim of the project was to synthesise variants of a potential lead glycolipid, α-GalCer, as it had been shown that it was possible to modulate immune response by varying the structure of the glycolipid.
