Responsible for People with Special Needs (PSN) registration process via custom “WebPSN” software and supervision of light-duty Fire-medics for data-entry. Conduct emergency plans review for Hospitals and health care facilities. Coordinate emergency role registration for employees via dossier-type software application. Representative to Regional Domestic Security Task Force (RDSTF). Liaison to State Warning Point for North Port fires, helicopter crash in Gulf of Mexico, and other incidents.

Responsible for Mitigation phase of emergency management for Manatee County. Chair of Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) group, facilitation of FEMA Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) grants including a $1.1 Million project –largest in U.S. Organize county’s first annual Hurricane Preparedness & Safety Expo –grew to over 12,000 attendees. Committee member of “Business Disaster Survival Kit” business continuity CD (www.FLdisasterKit.com).

Disaster preparedness, data security/integrity, and computer consulting. Contract to cover HelpDesk for 200 user site; supervise 8 technicians for Y2K conversions. Consult local government leaders on disaster response. Disaster Assistance Employee (DAE) for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) from 17-Oct-1996 to 16-Oct-1998. Business Education Instructor (cert# 992020) for Manatee Technical Institute until Jun-1995 as needed.
